Denbighshire hedgerow and boundary conservation scheme

This activity is all about conserving and maintaining the hedgerows and traditional boundaries of rural Flintshire and Denbighshire's farmland, and is offered to farmers and other members of the agricultural community to help them carry out conservation work on their land.

This activity is all about promoting and supporting local food and the people who make it, and is designed to help innovative projects not covered by other grant schemes in rural Flintshire and Denbighshire.

This activity is designed to encourage people to get involved with their communities and to make the most of local assets such as public spaces and village halls. Funding is available towards giving communities groups advice on the best use of facilities.

Protecting and promoting the natural and heritage assets of Denbighshire

This activity is about protecting the important natural and cultural sites of Denbighshire, while promoting them as tourist attractions. It's designed to involve young people (aged 16 to 24 not in education, employment or training) with voluntary work and work-shadowing projects.

Energy efficiency and carbon reduction - Denbighshire

By encouraging local projects that look at reducing our reliance on fossil fuels, this exciting new activity is all about enabling communities and groups - inclduing farmers and businesses - to take positive action on climate change and fuel poverty.

Help is available for existing micro-enterprises which are looking to launch a new product or to develop a new process; with grant funding, support, advice and expert business mentoring on offer to help make their ideas a reality.

This activity is all about helping new and established micro-businesses - including those working in the areas of agriculture, food and forestry - to realise their ideas for launching exciting new products and services.

Denbighshire Enterprise Bursary

This business start-up and development project gives enterprising young people living in rural Denbighshire a great opportunity to set up and grow their own business; with a grant of £2000 available to those aged 16 to 30, and to unemployed people over 30.
