CAN YOU HELP RENEW THE VITALITY OF YOUR RURAL COMMUNITY?

The Welsh Assembly Government's Rural Community Action scheme provides people across rural Wales with better access to support and funding for local regeneration projects.

Regional Rural Community Action Partnerships have been set up throughout Wales to offer help and advice on a range of projects which may attract funding or other support.

Each Action Partnership will produce a business plan based on projects identified by the communities themselves. We need you - local people and groups, to provide your Action Partnership with ideas for projects that will help address the specific needs of you area.

DOES YOUR IDEA MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA?

All projects proposed must:

·	Meet the needs of local communities
·	Involved and have support of local communities
·	Form part of or result in the production of a local community based strategy
·	Complement the relevant local authority community strategy
·	Provide added benefits to the area
·	Address and meet the training needs of those involved
·	Complement any activities already supported by other community initiatives
