Cadwyn Clwyd is a rural development agency providing funding
assistance and support to communities and groups in rural Denbighshire and
Flintshire.
The LEADER+ programme is developed and managed by Cadwyn
Clwyd (a local partnership of public, private and voluntary/community
organisations).
We oversee funds of £1.1 million (European and
Welsh Assembly funds) for the period Jan 2002 to June 2004, as well as
£150,000 per annum allocated by RCA (Rural Community Action).
This money is made available to support local projects that help the
rural communities within the areas rural Denbighshire and Flintshire. We work
directly with communities and groups to foster innovation and diversification
for the benefit of the local economy.
