Temporary Post until 31^st  December 2013

Salary Point 26-31 (£22,221 - £26,276 + 10% in lieu of pension contribution)

The post requires a dynamic person with the ability to work individually and as part of a team to assist in the development and implementation of Cadwyn Clwyd projects part-funded through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013 which is funded by the Welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

The post holder will be required to work directly with businesses in rural Flintshire to pilot new methods of adding value to raw materials in the agriculture, agri-food and forestry sectors, identifying new ways of gaining access to markets in order to increase profitability and develop new processes in the agriculture, agri-food and forestry sectors in rural Flintshire.  

The post requires an enthusiastic individual with knowledge of rural development.  Experience of the agricultrure sector is also essential together with a minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant field or a minimum qualification of HND or equivalent.  The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
